I don't usually make 2 posts in one day but I just wanted to show off the beautiful anniversary gift Mike bought me .... I LOVE it.
It was such a surprise because Mike & I had decided that we wouldn't exchange gifts this year - just the Chelan trip but when we were out to dinner at the restaurant he surprised me with it. Did I mention I LOVED it!! I am such a lucky girl.
It's a bead for my Pandora bracelet - it's the gold one with the little white pearl dangling from it. He gave me a bead for Christmas and so I was really not expecting this AT ALL!
When Jessica (who loves the bracelets - more than I do) first showed me them and was raving about how beautiful they were & how much she loved them - I
was like ... "I don't get them...they are kind
of weird & clunky looking." But - last summer when Sandra & I were in Pullman visiting Kate I took Sand to this really
cool little shop I had found on a previous visit (it's one of only 2 cute shops in Pullman) and they had the Pandora bracelets and I decided to buy J one (okay - "start" J one) for her birthday cause the beads can be a little pricey so you collect them like a charm bracelet.
I guess that's what they are ... a grown up charm bracelet. Funny, I still have my old charm bracelet from when I was little & I still love it even though I don't wear it anymore. Well - I had to admit that they really are much more beautiful in person than on a computer screen and I fell in love with them too.
Check out this link - you can make your own bracelet and see what the beads will look like all strung together (Hint: for more fun - don't look at the cost). Just click on the "start building your own bracelet" section - it's fun.
I feel really bad though because for the first time I actually followed the rules & didn't get Mike anything. I guess I'll just have to be extra nice for the next year to make up for it!!
Anyways ... off to pack (no I haven't done it yet) ... the snow & a blazing fire await.
Good-night all

PS: Did I mention how I love Mike ( oh ya, did I mention how much I love the bead too!)
