Beautiful is Everywhere ...

Today I was lucky ...
I found Beautiful Everywhere ....

- I found it in my Sunshiny Daffodils -
they brightened my day & made me smile ...

-  I found it in my soft pink Camilla Blooms -
they are so pure & gentle ~ they bring me peace ....

- I found it in my White & Yellow Daffi-O-Dillys -
they were still bathed in morning dew! 
So Clean, So Alive ...

- and in the new growth on my Lamb's Ear -
they are so minty fresh and fuzzy ...

- I found the beautiful in the twisted wreckage of the
opening buds on my Tree Peony -
they look like beautiful aliens ...

 

- I found beautiful in the words of Sara Teasdale -

The faery forest glimmered
Beneath an ivory moon,
The silver grasses shimmered
Against a faery tune.

Beneath the silken silence
The crystal branches slept,
And dreaming thro' the dew-fall
The cold white blossoms wept.

Smiles

Smiling is infectious,
You catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner,
and someone saw my grin,
When he smiled I realised,
I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile,
Then I realised its worth,
A single smile just like mine,
Could travel round the earth.
So if you feel a smile begin,
Don't leave it undetected -
Let's start an epidemic quick
And get the world infected!
