I am so excited ...
We sold our house last night!
At least, I'm pretty sure we did ...
Well, I'm pretty sure we kinda did.
As most of you know we (as in Mike) have been in talks with a company in San Diego, Ca and are hoping to relocate down there soon. Well, the company put us in touch with the relocation firm that would (as in maybe, might & if he gets hired) handle our relocation.
Well, the relocation company contacted several Realtor in our area who work with them to come over and 'assess' our house and come up with a marketing plan for us.
I have met with 3 so far and the last one I met with yesterday said that he had a client who had just relocated to Redmond from South Carolina to work with Microsoft.
John, the Realtor, said his client had looked at another townhouse for sale in our complex and was very interested in and that he was set to make an offer on it but that he would like him to look our unit before they put an offer in on the other one.
Apparently his client has 2 small kids (1 in elementary school) and he & his wife were very, very anxious to buy a home near Microsoft so they could get their son enrolled in school.
Anyways, he asked if he could just bring him by for a quick visit last night and of course I said yes, (Mike was not very happy because the San Diego relocation seems to be stalling right now) but they came to look anyway because I had said yes (without asking Mike - did I mention he's pissed).
So, Mike & I went out to dinner - they came, looked around, were here for a while and left. Mike & I came home and then about 9pm the Realtor, John called to say they wanted to make a offer... if we were going to put it up for sale!!!
What! Good grief. Talk about fast.
I am so excited.
Mike is not.
We are meeting with the Realtor later tonight to discuss what price we will tell them we would list it for ...
Yeah, We sold the house ... We're outta here.
No idea where we are going ... yet!
Okay, so, I guess technically, it's not sold yet ... but, I'm thinking it's as good as....
All that we need to do is agree on a price and in my book ...
that's almost ... as good as SOLD!!!
Mike said that I'm getting excited prematurely - it's not a done deal yet.
What, anyone who knows me knows I'm not the type to get all jazzed up & excited prematurely.
San Diego or not ... I guess we are moving.
I'm so excited either way!
Have a great Day & I'll keep you posted
