If you read my blog yesterday you are aware that I didn't get much sleep last night! I was up all night taking care of some serious business - scrapbooking, playing online games, & cleaning my office. I did in fact, as I mentioned in last nights post, go downstairs after I finished posting and make my morning coffee. Ahhh.... Good to the last drop! I stayed up until Mike got up at 8am and said good-bye to him and then went back to bed until almost 11:30am.
Look - "Old Man Winter" found his way back to my house - so much for "Jump Starting Spring". Actually it turned out pretty nice today after the snow melted.
Today is the 1st day of March - Yeah! I'll bet you didn't know that March is: "National Nutrion Month" (to honor that let's all comitt to attend 4 WW meetings this month), But Wait - - THERE"S MORE - it's also, Women's History Month (USA), National Red Cross Month, National Frozen Food month, National Pasta Month, National Kidney Month, National Craft Month and National Deaf Month -- just to name a few! A good month for Hallmark - I'll wager! I know I'll be off 1st thing tomorrow morning to stock up on my "Frozen Food" cards. LOL
Here is the RAK update as promised: Okay - since there were only two takers It looks like they both get a treat and a Great Big Thanks for helping make me feel better. I enjoyed the posts and seeing who their celebrity crushes were:
Jessica T. posted 1st with the following: "Well I would like to say some one super cool like Johnny depp, or heck even Scott Bao....but if i am honest I think it was someone super cheesy and now creepy Mr. M Jackson. Oh the shame!!!! The longest crush on anyone has been since high school and continues even to this day with bon jovi and the great John Cusack!!!!! ( Ahh... thanks for the memories Jess - I do remember that you used to have a Michael Jackson picture - in a little heart frame on your bedside table. I wish I still had that!! You know for years she would not even admit to it though)
Here is a picture of Jessica's "Lets Cheer Nancy Up" gift. I loved going shopping for surprises & treasures to give away "just because" it made me & I hope the reciever happy. It is the ultimate no-guilt scrapbook shopping. Jessica -It's a little of this and a little of that and a whole lot of "I hope you enjoy and scrap yourself silly"
Sarah B was the 2nd post and she wrote, "I would have to definitely say it was Bon Jovi and I still might idolize him a little today...I remember Friday nights at the skating rink standing on the bench singing our hearts out to the great Bon Jovi!!! Sarah, your post brought so many memories!.. The ice rink in Cloverdale! My entire teenage social world revolved around that ice-rink. Good fun! I know you probably don't have any time these days to scrapbook Sarah but if you find yourself with a few spare minutes I hope you can use a few of them to sit down with a nice cup of tea and scrap! You can't really see it in the picture but there is a kit included and it includes everything needed to make a small baby album. Plus there are some extras! Have fun (PS: there is a box of gluedots that I forgot to put in the picture)
Your treats should be in the mail tomorrow or the next day!
You guys can send in a picture of whatever you make and I will post it if you like!
See you later!
